We can supply bitumen from well-known refineries in the Gulf region to importers in several countries including U.A.E., India, and Africa. Using our advantage of managing a bitumen carrier of 3,500 dwt we are able to supply and transport Bulk Bitumen efficiently throughout the Arabian Gulf waters specifically. With our close contacts to several manufacturers in the region we can also export Bitumen in New Steel Drums of 180 kg & 150 kg in 20 ft. containers, for buyers who currently do not have any facility to handle Bitumen supplies in bulk. Bitumen in drums can be supplied anywhere around the globe. Below is the qualities we trade in.

Penetration Grade

Penetration Grade Bitumen is a standard bitumen used for road construction and for asphalt pavement production.  This grade of Bitumen is commonly used in road surfacing and some industrial applications. Penetration Test determines the hardness of Bitumen. The harder the bitumen, the lesser the number of penetration units it will have. We supply petroleum grade bitumen, produced from fractional distillation of crude oil as well as vacuum residue feedstock.

We supply all Penetration Graded Bitumen Grades in correspondence to ASTM D946-09 and EN 12591-2009, including:

60/70 , 80/100 , 85 / 100 , 40 /50 , 50/70 , 60/90 , 80/110 , 80/120 , 30/50 , 40/60

Viscosity Grade

Viscosity grade bitumen is another type of bitumen which has advantages over penetration grade, such as:

  • During high temperatures the Performance is better when by using a viscosity-graded bitumen specification (based on viscosity at 60 °C.
  • Assists with Issues of compaction, which the tender asphalt mixtures create. This issue is improved by having a requirement of minimum viscosity at 135°C. This makes it helpful will be helpful to minimize the tender mix problems in the field.
  • Using of viscosity-graded paving bitumen will decrease the number of total tests to 7. This occurs without compromising the quality of bitumen and also no new tests are required in implementing this specification.

The bitumen is graded according to Viscosity (degree of fluidity) grading. The higher the grade, the stiffer the Bitumen.  We can offer below grades:

VG-30 , VG-10, VG-40
