
Redwood Lumber :
Redwood, which is sometimes known as Scots Pine. It is a rather slow growth type of timber with fine texture and medium density, yet still maintaining good strength properties. Red wood is mainly used for door and window frames, joinery, flooring and indoor paneling. It is sometimes also used as construction timber and for furniture.
The timber is usually Kiln Dried ( KD ) to reach a humidity content of 18 – 20 %. The packing is either one length per package ( LP ), three or five lengths per package ( SP ), or several lengths per package ( TP ).
